It's so much better than the information the dietitian gave me when my son was diagnosed with coeliac disease. It's really easy to understand and explains all those confusing things like what 'may contain' statements mean and how some ingredients that contain wheat are actually gluten free. I wish I'd done it sooner!

Users can get an understanding of how to read food labels and there are useful exercises and practise opportunities for label reading to consolidate learning. Overall it is a well-presented course and very detailed around label reading for coeliac disease but it does seems quite expensive for label reading education only. Safety concerns: None. New Zealand relevance: Suitable for a New Zealand audience, but there is no te reo Māori used in education topics. ((Editors comment: Since December 2021, this app is free. There is no cost.))
